I'm pooped!!! I sewed until I can't sew anymore. I need another practice quilt before I quilt sea glass. And this is it, fun with stripes. I'm trying to make my donation quilts geared more towards boys and teenagers. Quilts for kids and project linus need male quilts. I do love making the little girly ones though and have a stash of pinks just waiting to be used. Wait, back to the boy quilt.....Ok, so what do you think does this say Boy??? It's got purple in there and just a tiny hint of pink in one of the stripes. But I think it's a "manly" purple and the pink just isn't noticed.See the green at the bottom from the wall? I think I want to add one last border, just a tiny bit of green. But I'm too tired to decide right now. Good night!
I think it is just wonderful - so into plaids and stripes for boys/men right now.
ReplyDeleteSays BOY!! Some male is going to love it. Wonderful gift
ReplyDeleteDefinitely boy enough! Unless you need a border specifically to bring it up to a certain size, how about adding the "touch of green" by binding with it?
ReplyDeleteMost certainly boy! The angles and the stripes along with the blue and red say boy to me. Very nice quilt.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is gorgeous, any boy would love it! xo
ReplyDeleteI have three sons, and I think this definitely looks like a quilt a boy would love. Thanks for your wonderful comment on my blog. I enjoyed visiting yours!
