DWM - not a bad sewing weekend after all

Granny Sqaures
I think I did pretty good this weekend.  8 more granny square blocks, 4 blocks of suebobsquarepants, 4 Dear Jane blocks and Mirage is done.  I honestly thought that Mirage would never make it off the Waiting to Be Quilted list, but nope surprised my self.  It's not my favorite but it's a finish :)

  3. LOVE your mirage!!! It looks fabulous. As for the granny squares, blocks 5 & 6 aren't like the other blocks. I am thinking though that those two are the ones that are done correctly and the other ones have pieces sewn in backwards.

  6. Oh, Mirage is wonderful. I started a true bargello once: the strips are still pinned to a board behind a door. And the quilting is perfect for it. Did people slip food to you while you spent the whole weekend sewing?

  8. Great quilting on Mirage (well, and the piecing is fabulous too...) Nice to have it finished. Your Suebobsquarepants is great...name is a hoot! That blue and black together looks so fresh... nice job this week. I agree with Gari -- you weren't doing anything except being chained to your sewing machines, right? LOL

  14. I really like your Mirage. I've made one bargello once and told myself that was all I wanted. But I must say I think my favorite on your wall is suebobsquarepants. That is so good looking.
