Not a lot of sewing going on this weekend. We finally had a wonderful weekend, no rain, great temps, could Spring finally be here? Keep in mind it did snow here on 5/16. I sure how that was the last one of the season. I did finish a small baby blanket, this is a modified Modern Mirrors, ended up 46 x 50 which is a nice size. And I did get over 27 miles on the bike this weekend so very happy with that.
And don't forget about Bloggers Quilt Festival - here's my entry Stop by and see all the wonderful quilts and if you don't have one in, get one in there.
Stop by all the linky parties on the side bar - lots of inspiration out there

27 miles on the bike in one weekend. You're a road warrior! Yikes, snow in mid May. YUCK. Hoping you get back in the studio and have more wonderful projects to share.
ReplyDeleteOh my 27 miles, I can't go 1 mile anymore. I miss the days of coming home and riding my bike for miles. Out here in the sticks there's just to many hills for this ole gal.
ReplyDeleteI did my miles in the car. :-( However I like your quilt and since I am in baby quilt mode, am always looking for something different to do the next one.
ReplyDeleteFunny to see you slow down in the quilting department. We didn't get snow, but had heavy frost the last couple of nights.
ReplyDeleteI really love your Modern Mirrors, especially the colors you used. Forgive me for my ignorance, but what does DWM stand for? I tried to figure it out but Divorced White Male is what keeps coming to mind and I'm that's not what you mean!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, very cool and relaxing.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to finally be able to stick our heads outside and play in the garden....or on your bike. Mind you, 27 miles doesn't sound like play, it sounds painful. Good for you!!!! Good luck in the Festival. This quilt will do well, it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat one is on my to do list which is so long, LOL. So nice to see it made. Snow still? Well we had a week of summer heat so don't know what this weather is doing. Thanks for sharing, Sue.
ReplyDeleteI really like this layout...especially how you can't tell which is the background and which is the foreground!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet quilt! Good luck in the festival this year, Sue! Voting starts today! Yippee!
ReplyDeleteWow! 27 miles is wonderful Sue! It seems like we get one cold day and then a hot one. I just want regular spring weather! Thanks for sharing at Linky Tuesday! Freemotion by the River
