Well I got a couple more Dear Jane blocks done. I'm not real happy with A-3, but we'll see if I do it over or not.
I finished my Carpenter's Star for Judy's Feather tutorial. This is going to be a table cloth for my kitchen table which is a big square. I love the chicken's in the fabric, I thought that was appropriate for feathers :)

At least there are some feathers in there. |
Geesh Sue, I'm amazed at the way you fly through your "work". It all looks great, especially that machine quilting, that looks fantastic! Lots of stops and starts on this one I see!
ReplyDeleteFantastic quilting. Have fun with those feathers.
ReplyDeleteAll such wonderful projects. I love the Carpenter's Wheel.
ReplyDeleteI just can't get over that incredible quilting!!! Your projects are BEAUTIFUL! =D
ReplyDeleteWOW - great stuff! Your "Dear Jane" blocks are wonderful, and that Carpenter's Star makes me smile - chickens and yellow and feathers -now that's a winning combination!
ReplyDeleteNice Dear Jane blocks! I am still in the "would love to do that" mode with Dear Jane but was inspired by your beautiful blocks!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Carpenter's Star! and the pun. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou always have such great things happening.
Lovely quilting. ...and I always love to see Carpenter's Star Quilts! Love that yellow/gold!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilting! I want to start another Dear Jane - I gave up on the last one and gave the blocks away. I want to make a bright one and the old blocks were 30's fabrics.
ReplyDeleteLove that you've used non-traditional fabrics for your Dear Jane blocks, very fun! Love the chickens too. Great projects!
ReplyDeleteLOVELY blocks, you have some great fabrics in your collection. I do like the chickens, too. I hope my quilting is as great as yours is, maybe someday!!
ReplyDeleteAs usual you have some great things to look at on your blog. I'll be anxious to see the quilting on the star.
ReplyDeleteYour Dear Jane blocks look so hard to make that they made me shudder with all those circles! And your Carpenter's Star is just lovely to see. Thanks for providing all of us with such nice eye-candy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks! If A3 is the top right I really like it! Great colors in your Carpenter's Star too! Thanks for sharing.
