I love organized thread. My husband made these for me out of 1x3's and a whole lot of screws. They work wonderfully.

Irish Stars
As you can see, I don't normally do traditionally pieced quilts, but this one I really liked. I purchased the kit at A Pieceful Gathering in Cary, IL. this is the first quilt that I quilted features. I copied them on tear away stabilizer and then pinned and quilted. Now that's one of those things you only do once. It took a very very long time to pull out the stabilizer. But I do lover the feathers. The next quilt I marked with chalk, and then started doing them free hand. Sometimes you just have to jump.
the baby quilt that started it all
This is my first baby quilt made for my first great niece. It's the one that started it all. Applique designs were pulled from the border that was used in the baby's room.
Olivia's Baby Quilt
Another one that I used the border for the applique designs. I think I should have skipped the blue border on the center square.
Baseball Quilt
I love making baby quilts especially if the baby's room has a border that I can use for the design elements. this is my favorite baby blanket that I've made to date. It's the first time that I have a border with words on it. I learned that I need to estimate the size of the font a bit better. The font was the right size for the border I wanted, but the song didn't fit. Oh well, it's for a baby, they won't know until years and years later ;)

Baby Quilt
This is a pine needles pattern, when I do these, I do two as I know I'll never do another one. I also do satin stitch around the applique as I want them to be usable
Twisted Stars
Another Judy Niemeyer quilt, I guess I really like her designs. My daughter picked out the fabric for this one, she didn't like the pastels that were shown, worked ok but I think would have been better with pastels. The important thing is that she really likes it.
Angie's Wedding Quilt
Another Judy Niemeyer design. This is the first quilt that I did free motion feather quilting. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the completed quilt, I'll have to see if I can get one. Very exciting to be able to do the feather quilting.
Colts Quilt
All that is left is the quilting. One of my favorite quilts, this is a surprise quilt for one of my favorite Colts' fans. I hope he likes it
Testing
Just testing to see how this works. This is Arlene's wedding Quilt. The pattern is Judy Niemeyer Diamond Wedding Ring pattern. I really like paper piecing.
