Laptop and Kindle Sleeve

Daughter number 4 was home and asked for a computer sleeve when she saw mine.  Oh great idea, I wanted a new one.  The only thing I have to show for a whole week of quilting is this one little bitty computer sleeve.  My kindle and my phone fit in the front pocket along with my train pass.  Those are leftover scraps from the Shining Star Log Cabin quilt that is waiting to be quilted. I have another one ready to quilt.  This one was quilted on my DSM, I think I'll wait for the long arm to be free for the next one.  I still have Marie's square pants quilt on the frame. I have been doing quite a bit of quilting on it, 26 magna glide bobbins so far and I'm probably about 75% done with the quilt.   Now, that's a lot of feathers on one quilt.  But to be fair, it is a pretty large quilt too!

Don't forget to check out the linky parties on the side bar, lots of inspiration to start of the quilting new year.

  1. Great computer case! It's so nice to have everything in one place.

  2. 26 bobbins? Wow. That is a huge amount of bobbins? Are they the L or M style. Cause if M that is even more thread. Your sleeve looks like it works really well.

  3. 1700metres of thread and counting. It will be great to see the finished product.
