My first Quilt Label - am I missing anything?

Yep, that's right, this is the first label that I have ever created and will put on a quilt.  My "husband's quilt" now has a name "Direction to my Heart", and he's the one that actually helped come up with that name!!  I'm not really sure what should go on a label, name, who it's for, and when it was made.  Anything else?

  1. It's a very personal label, but at least sign your name!

  2. If this is to be passed down for generations it would be nice to know your name and city and state. -and didn't you design this also-

  3. Sue, I always include where the quilt was made, how it was made (hand tied, machine quilted, hand quilted etc) and when, and my full name.

  4. On my labels - I include the quilts name, my name, year, Location ( if going overseas I add country) - They are not so beautifully worded as yours...
