Wow, I can't believe that I hit 100 followers this week. I'm amazed and thankful to all of you. I have to say that I've been blogging for a little over a year and have grown so much from the online community. Just want to say "thanks" with a little bit of a give away.I have an extra copy of M'Liss Rae Hawley's "Fat Quarter Quilts". And I'm going to throw in 4 fat quarters.
It's an easy give away with 2 chances to win.
- Leave a comment if you are a follower (you don't have to be a follower to win, see below) - that's one chance.
- Leave a comment for what type of fabric you like most in a scrappy quilt. I'll add 4 fat quarters to the winnings based on your comments - another chance to win .
Me, I love brights and batiks in scrappy quilts!!
A random winner will be chosen on 12/17!! Don't forget to stop by and see what all the other bloggers are giving away!!
I am a follower and I also like bright colors or batiks in scrappy quilts. As a matter of fact, I have a HUGE batik stash.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower and congrats on hitting that milestone 100!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a particular favorite fabric when it comes to scrapping - but red makes it pop, black frames, and white will tame it!
ReplyDeleteI have been a follower for a while now since we seem to share similar interests in many of our projects.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scrappy focus has been whatever I was doing at the time. This summer I HAD to use a stack of deep blues and tans in a quilt. Another time I wanted all my florals gone from my stash. Soon I will start one from old feedsack scraps I found while cleaning out my parents' home and then it will be a red and cream.
ReplyDeleteHi! I am a follower and I enjoy your blog very much. Love your quilts, especially your header quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love neutrals in a scrappy quilt.

ReplyDeleteI follow your blog and truly enjoy it. I love scrappy quilts so I can use up leftovers from all the other quilts I make. My favorite color materials seems to all have orange in them somewhere. So I am on an orange kick. Thank you for the opportunity to win a new quilting book.

ReplyDeleteI like light neutrals in scrap quilts to show off the other colors. Thanks for the giveaway! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower now! What fabric do I like best in scrappy quilts? Is "all of them" acceptable? I've made scrappy quilts with batiks, with 30's, with 19th c repros, Christmas-themed, and on and on.
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago I made a rail fence in graded black/white fabrics and red -- using the same fabrics throughout. I was somewhat uncomfortable as I sewed, but not until I had finished did I realize that my discomfort was because I'd
used only five different fabrics. (The design wouldn't have worked as well with a huge assortment, but I regard that quilt as the exception that proved my rule: the more fabrics in a quilt, the better!)
Im a follower and my favorite in scrappy quilt is neutrals tone on tone... thank you for the chance to enter your fab giveaway..
