2011 Quilts

The first finish of 2011.  This is a design that I did in EQ - my first EQ quilt that was more than just bits and bytes.
2nd finish of 2011 - string quilt for Dave Jones, my Son-in-law

the first pieced back for me, I like it!

This is the second finish of 2011.  I fell in love with string quilts while doing RRCB.  Someone also had black and white strings in their RRCB and I just had to make one.  This is for my son in law. This is also the first quilt that I pieced the back.  Not bad for a first try.
3rd finish of the year, Hugs and Kisses for my honey!!

RRCB done, finished, I did it!!  finish #4 2011

  1. Wonderful finishes Sue! Love seeing them all on one page like this!
    Question for you, How?
I've made pages for my blog, but I can't seem to figure out how to add the comment boxes for them. I've adjust some things in Settings, but nothing happens for it...
I would appreciate some guidance if you have a minute? 8-)

  6. Oh my gosh, you did all of this in one year? I don't know how a person can accomplish so much?!

Ok, my favorites are the owl baby quilt, the long "Fall" table runner (OMG!), the Baltimore Album (is that turn under, or raw edge appliqué?), and, of course, the tree skirt!!

The reality is that I like them all! Color combinations, and quilting are fabulous. I'm just about done with school (again) ~ 1 week to go, and I hope that I'll eventually be able to accomplish this much in one year. You're definitely an inspiration, Suzanne! Thanks for sharing.

  8. Hi!
Your "True Lovers Knot, Wedding quilt for husbands God son" is Carolina Cotton Company's Favorite quilt of the day! We are sharing your link on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/CarolinaCottonCompany.com

I LOVE IT! Very inspiring! Great color choice for the pattern! I find it romantic as well as the two fabrics are all that is required to make SUCH BEAUTY! :)
