I finally get to share this beauty designed by Marcia Kennedy. This is a Mystery Quilt that she ran this year for the other members of the Proper Bostonian Quilters based in West Roxbury, MA. They are a small group (around 100 members) with members mostly in surrounding towns but a number of members who have moved out of the area keep up their membership even though they are too far away to attend meetings. They will have their biannual (every two years) quilt show this coming October. You can be sure the quilt will be in full display!!
That was something right? I was quilting all those bright cheery flowers when it was so darn cold and wintry here. Like a a bit of spring in my studio! This has Hobbs Heirloom batting 80/20, cotton sateen backing (yep one of my favorites!), Glide thread on top. I'm pretty sure on bottom too, but forgot to take pics of thread - but I know it's either 60 wt glide or bottom line. Rarely do I put anything else in bobbin! I'm pretty sure I used two colors of thread on top as well. One off white and another a bit darker, should have taken pictures!
I've got lots to catch up on with the Blog. We've been so busy with Hands 2 Help, and then I've got Becky and Janice's beauties to share as well! So much quilty goodness going on.
