DWM and H2H Check in

Anna's Rainbow Quilt
Two finishes for the week Rainbow quilt is done with a scrappy border.
Garden Party - H2H quilt #4

Garden Party back

Garden Party is done.  I used a new panto for this one Fanfare Grande by Patricia E. Ritter.  It was  a bit harder for me, those swirls were a challenge, but I'm getting better.  I like how it turned out.  I think you can see the quilting on the back a bit better.  This is the last of my H2H quilts.

And it's check in time for H2H so I'm showing all the quilts together here - I'm all done, all washed and just need to get them in the mail.  So I just finished Garden Party above, I think this one will go to Happy Chemo. The other Happy Chemo quilt will be Venetian Dream .  The two that will go to Nola are the Half Moon Modern Log Cabin and the other solid squares quilt with no name:)  Then since I was able to get 2 for each charity. I made one for Sarah's quilt Ministry, Kitty Korner.   I used the block that I designed from the block challenge she had a while ago.  I wanted to make the squares and donate to her ministry, but I just kept going and finished it off.  These were finished in previous weeks, just the first time they are all in one place.

the other solid squares quilt with no name: - H2H #2

Half Moon Modern Log Cabin - H2H #3

And Baby Smiles needs some hooded towels so we made three.  So easy to make, I use a regular bath towel and a hand towel.  One hand towel can actually make two hooded towels. I cut a square 12-14 inches, then cut that in half on the diagonal.   Add something cute to the triangle.  I used fusible and a blanket stitch.  Just round the corners of the towel and the hand towel triangle,  cut off the ends of the bath towel if they are bigger than 1/4 inch.  I sew the triangle to the bath towel with 1/8 generous seams.  Then just add some binding and you've got an adorable hooded towels.

Lots of inspiration go check out these linkey parties:
